It is an hour north of Marseille and close to Avignon, Arles, Aix, Nimes, the Camargue, Orange, Mont Ventoux, St Remy and the Rhone wine trail. In summer there are art festivals everywhere, from the famous one at Avignon, to the international piano festival at La Roque d'Antheron, to small local events. Goult has the well-loved Cafe de la Poste in its square, which is where locals and visitors gather for a coffee or meal, some good restaurants, and small shops like a bakery, butcher and greengrocer. Just minutes from Gordes, Roussillon and Bonnieux.
