Petit Luberon

Petit Luberon faces south across a vast and spectacular private valley. Nestled on several hectares of land with lavender fields, truffle oaks and natural bush land, Petit Luberon is close what one imagines in the picture books of Provence. It is a delightful stone house with sage green shutters and picture windows and doors framing beautiful views. Inside the house are thick stone walls, tiled floors and exposed beams of traditional Provencal architecture. Because of its position, light floods the house from dawn to sunset. There is also a pretty pool set away from the house. All this in a closed garden and truffle oaks of 4 acres.

Seemingly miles from anywhere with its wide-open spaces, tranquility and wildlife, this lovely stone house is equidistant from the market town of Apt and the medieval and exquisite town of Lourmarin with its galleries and restaurants. The surrounding countryside is very well known for rock climbing and hiking and with a fabulous old Chateau and an extraordinary medieval fort nearby, the area is also a painter and photographers’ delight.
