The homes represented here are all located in the heart of Provence, nestled between the Alps and the Mediterranean Sea. Sloping vineyards, fields of lavender and sunflowers and rows of plane and cypress trees are all found on a typical day's drive through the countryside. Provence is abundantly rich in ancient sites, colorful outdoor markets and festivals, historic villages and breathtaking scenery.
The major cities of inland Provence include Aix-en-Provence, Arles, Marseille and Avignon. Many of the picturesque villages are to be found in the Luberon mountain region and around the Alpilles, a stunningly beautiful area of limestone crests blanketed with olive groves and vineyards.
